Light at the End of the Tunnel

As a student, I know firsthand how difficult the pre-holiday shenanigans can be. There's assignments to complete, finals to write and a bunch of studying you need to cram into your busy schedule. Is it stressful? Absolutely. Although there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Exam season can be extremely frustrating, but there's nothing better than conquering your battles, whether it be school-related or in your day-to-day life. As I've reiterated a million times, hard work and determination truly pays off.  Although don't get me wrong, this doesn't always happen 100 per cent of the time. Even if you do your best, you will fail and you will make mistakes. Use these opportunities to learn and grow so you can avoid making the same ones in the future.

**If you're feeling down or unmotivated, squash the negative thoughts and replace them with positives ones. Set goals and start working towards them.

How do you overcome difficult times?

  1. I'm studying business and management, in fact, I'm actually a bit demotivated. Any advice?

  2. Oh, very nice! To be honest, that was me yesterday. Going for a walk and making a mental "to-do" list always helps me. When I get back, I'm refreshed and ready to conquer. Good luck!

  12. This was me last year. I was finishing up classes, submitting final papers and projects, working part-time, and finding internships to do in the summer. Life gets hectic! What kept me sane was finding time to balance fun with work. Sure, I'd have nights where I'd be staying up all night to get papers done, but I'd also make time to have Netflix marathons with my boyfriend. It's all about balance. Relaxing a bit gets your head back on right, reinvigorates you to keep working, and lets you kill all those end-of-the-year assignments.

  13. I agree with everything you said 110 per cent. Making time for yourself is extremely important, even if it's just watching an episode of your favourite show or spending some time with your friends/family. I really appreciate your feedback! Xx

  15. Best of luck(+hardwork) to you!
Started Stylish Academic blog a little over a week ago, whilst finishing up my thesis - the only thing I can say is that a "regimented calendar" might help. For now, it seems to do the trick for me. How sustainable would be a blog post idea I reckon lol.

  17. As you know I've been stressed too, but I just focus on the now and what I am grateful for. It helps keep things in the present. Keep it up xx

  21. I have to admit, I'm guilty of doing the opposite. I feel so unmotivated to stay "healthy" when I'm stressed. Perhaps I should take your advice!
