Favourites from L'Occitane's Cédrat Collection

I'm always on the hunt for new lines of products to test but more specifically, those that are developed for men. So when L'Occitane reached out to me to test out a handful of products from their Cédrat collection I couldn't pass up the opportunity!

According to L'Occitane's website, cedrat is a citrus fruit that was the source of inspiration for the entire line. It looks similar to a lemon, but the skin is thicker and rougher. In this collection, L'Occitane uses organic Corsican Cedrat extract to give their products a fresh, citrusy fragrance that I've quickly grown to love. Here are three of my favourite products from the line...

Cédrat Pure Cleanser

I keep three or four cleansers on my vanity but since I received this product, this is the only one I've been using. The scent is super refreshing and I'm a huge fan of the gel consistency. It also contains natural exfoliating elements that removes dead skin cells, makes my skin look much brighter, refreshed and "primed" for the rest of my skin care products.

Cédrat Global Face Gel

My next favourite product from the line is the Global Face Gel. Honestly friends, this is the moisturizer I've been on the hunt for all summer! It moisturizes my skin perfectly and has a mattifying effect that still gives me a healthy, natural "glow". However, if you have dry skin to begin with, make sure you use a toner or serum underneath for an extra boost of moisture.

I also have to mention that I'm a huge fan of the packaging. It's super small and compact which makes it easy to pack in an overnight or travel bag. The pump also makes it easy to dispense the gel without any fuss.

Eau de Cédrat

Last but not least is the fragrance. Normally I'm not a huge fan of citrusy scents, but I made an acceptation for this one. It's the perfect balance between smelling masculine and fresh at the same time, which I love because it isn't overpowering. Lastly I was pleasantly surprised with the price. At all L'Occitane stores, or online, this fragrance retails for $58. Considering most colognes are over $100, I think it's an amazing bang for your buck.

*On a sidenote, L'Occitane's L'Homme Cédrat Cologne will be available in boutiques and online as of October 25. This fragrance is less citrusy and has more musky & masculine notes.
